Out of My Mind
There is a smart girl named Melody, and she can't walk and she can't talk. It is very frustrating for her to communicate with her family. One day in class she made a little movement but her teachers can't see her. About 1 week later she got a Medi-Talker so she can communicate with other people she was ecstatic about trying it. If you red more your eyes will never stop reading the book because it's so good.

Out of My Mind
I think that you should read the book Out of My Mind. It is so good. There is a girl named Melody and she has Cerebral Palsy. She has a photographic memory and has a great vocabulary but nobody knows it because she can't talk. My favorite part of the book is when she gets a thing called a Media Talker and she says thank you to the person who got it for her. I love this book because the lesson is " Don't judge a book by it's cover" and everyone under estimates Melody and treats her like a baby. I recommend this book to any one who loves bitter sweet endings.

Dog Days of Charlotte Hayes
The Dog Days Of Charlotte Hayes by Marlane Kennedy is about a girl who doesn't like dogs, but doesn't hate them. It's her job to take care of Benyard or as the family says "Killer". He is a big St. Bernard that lives outside rain or shine. Charlotte wants him to go to a family that doesn't chain him outside. Charlotte wants him to have a good future but how can she do that if he is chained up outside? What should Charlotte do?
I would recommend this book to 4th-6th grade girls who don't love dogs but don't like them either. Charlotte goes through a lot in this book with twisting feelings and emotions. If you are ever in a mood for a page turner book, this will be the book for you!

Henry and The Paper Route
In the book Henry And The Paper Route by Beverly Cleary. Henry an eleven year old boy really wants a paper route. He is trying to prove to the person who owns the papers that he is worthy of having a paper route. His next door neighbor has a little sister , every time he walks on the street she makes him look immature. Throughout the book Henry is trying to prove he can handle a paper route. Then a new boy moves in and he gets the paper route Henry wanted because in his old street he was a paper boy so he transferred. After a while the new boy became so embarrassed because Henry's young neighbor wants to be a paper boy, too. So every day when the new boy goes down the street the next door neighbor steels his papers.
I would recommend this book. It is funny at times the way Henry's neighbor makes a fool out of the new boy. The author really shows how everything is through Henry's eyes. I would rate this book 3 stars. Altogether this was a very good book.

Wonder
In the beginning of the book, we learn that the main character, August, has a special gene that made his face is disfigured. He got some surgeries to fix his face, but he still looks different than the average kid. Later in the book, August attends school for the very first time and goes into fifth grade because he was home schooled. Everybody looks at him differently, except three of his friends. After school has started, Halloween comes, and the students can wear their costumes to school. After what August heard at school, he doesn't want to go trick or treating anymore. His sister tries to help him, but something goes wrong. August deals with his freindship and all his emotions. Then in the book it switches off to different points of veiws, to see everyones opinion. After the switching, August gets these special hearing aids that are big. At that point in the book, everyone is treating him like a normal kid, not a freak. When everyone is camping and watching a movie, August and his friend go out into the woods and gets stopped by high schoolers. August then loses his hearing aids to the high schoolers. I don't want to give away the ending, so you will have to read the book to find out how it ends.
I would reccomend this book to people who think they are more than different. Also, if you don't mind different point of views. There are a lot of different point of veiws. Also, August is a more than different kid. I like this book because of those.
