Aliens on Vacation
This book is my favorite book because if you really concentrate on the book, you get an amazing movie going in your head. This book is adventure all the way to romance. It has about 40 chapters, but if you don't think about how much chapters there are, this will be one of the best books ever read and written. If you're looking for a great book, I would recommend going to the library and getting Aliens On Vacation.

The Candymakers
The Candymakers is definitely one of my absolute favorite books. The theme of the book in my opinion is friendship. I recommend this book for grades 4-6. This book is about 4 kids who compete in a national candy making contest. The 4 kids have to create and make up an entirely different and new candy in three days. Logan, one of the contestants, is the candymakers son. Miles, Daisy, and Philip are the other contestants. Each of the contestants all come from a different background. Which kid will make the winning candy? Read to find out!

The Giver
The Giver takes place sometime in the future. There is no pain, fear, war, or emotions. You don't even have choices. You can't choose your spouses, careers,or kids. When Jonas turns twelve he gets assigned The Receiver Of Memory and everything changes. The Giver gives him. The memories and he realizes no one else has the memories, or feels the emotion. He now knows the truth and there is no turning back.
I would highly recommend this book. I liked it because it was unique. It is unique when Jonas gets the memories. It is also a unique type of subject because he lives in a controlled community and I thought that was really cool. I would highly recommend this book. It is a real page turner!

Remarkable
Remarkable by Lizzie K. Foley is a fantastic book. It is about a girl named Jane who lives in a town called Remarkable. She is very regular and has no special talents. Her brother and sister are very talented and go to Remarkable's School of the Remarkably Gifted. When two troublemakers from Remarkable's School of the Remarkably Gifted get expelled and have to go to public school things start to change. They ask the teacher to teach them how to be pirates and she agrees. They learned being a pirate is very hard work. One thing Jane didn't understand was why the teacher agreed to teach them how to be pirates. Read this book to find out why she agreed and all the other mysteries that unfold when you read Remarkable.
My favorite part was when the teacher told the kids why she was teaching them how to be pirates. It was a turn I wasn't expecting. I would recommend this book to others. I liked it because all the characters were so quirky. They all had their special talents and no two people are alike. Remarkable was such a page turner, I would definetly read it again. So, read Remarkable today!

James isn't even allowed to leave the house. One day a man gave James magic beans and said they'll make your spirit grow. James was about to swallow them but they dropped and went into some insects. Later a peach on the peach tree started to grow so big that it was as tall as a tree. The two aunts made a lot of money just for letting people see it. That night James saw a huge hole in the tree. The Lost Children
I read The Lost Children by Carolyn Cohagen. Josephine is a young girl that nobody understands. Her mother passed away when she was young, and her father does not talk to her. When a mysterious young boy shows up and says he came from their shed, Josephine gets curious. She gets pulled into a world with the boy that doesn't talk, his crazy friend, a master that Josephine keeps hearing about. One day, they leave the orphanage, and move in with a couple. The couple is keeping Josephine with them, because she has the same last name as the master! They kick her other friends out. When they see each other again, they keep traveling to find somewhere to go. They run into many tough situations, but they always stick together. Also, Josephine learns the truth about her dad, even if she doesn't like it!
I would recommend The Lost Children to anyone who likes mystery. I would give this five stars, because I think that the author did a very good job on explaining the details. I would definitely read this again!

This Isn't What it Looks Like
The book This Isn't What It Looks Like by Pseudonymous Bosch is about girl named Cass and a boy named Max-Ernest. Cass is in a deep coma because she ate a special chocolate made by Senior Hugo that makes you go back in time. Senior Hugo made her do this because he wants to tell them the secret to life. Cass had to move to the hospital because she wasn't waking up. Max-Ernest visits her everyday and tries to help her wake up. Cass meets a girl named Anastasia and a jester while she is still in her coma. The do not know anything about the secret. If the jester and Anastasia find the secret the will leave Cass a hint under a special lodestone rock. This book is full of mystery and you should read it.
I think that the book This Isn't What It Looks Like by pseudonymous Bosch is a great book. It is very mysterious and has a lot of nerve racking parts. You always want to keep reading to find out more. Some of the chapters end with questions so you always want to keep on reading. This book is a page turner because each chapter ands with a question. I would rate this book 5 stars because the chapters were numbered coolly. I love how some chapters are told from Cass's point of view and others from Max-Ernest's point of view. That makes the book more interesting.
